After the success of the exhibition of last year dedicated to Carlo Nangeroni here now "Sandro Martini - Quantità - Spazio - Colore", title of the solo show that will be presented this year once again in the fantastic setting of Villa Borromeo Visconti Litta inLainate, Milan from 17th to 25th May 2019 and organized by MR FINE ART.

To cure it, like the previous one, Daniele Palazzoli, who has always followed the work of the artist, first as a gallery owner and now as co-director of the department of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Cambi auction house. The last collaboration between the two dates back to 2012, one double exhibition in the spaces of the historic Galleria Blu in Milan.Seven years later a new collaboration between the two, conceived by MR FINE ART with the aim of paying homage to Sandro Martini through a wide-ranging anthological exhibition that wants to present to the public a very accurate selection of works that embrace the whole creative period of the artist: starting from "Mixer of color and form" of 1961 we arrive at the series of "pages", through masterpieces such as "Page Abeille" of 1964, cm.160x120 and "Page 89 - 28 July 1968 ”, Cm.200x180. From the 60s we move on to the 70s, with the series of "quantities" and the very rare "Salamanders", continuing up to the energetic canvases of the 80s, the "transcriptions" on intelate paper of the 90s and then arriving at his last realizations, the sewn canvases of the last few years, his plexiglass installations("Cages") and the frescoes. The artist is also known for his monumental installations (the last one dates back to June last year at the Spazio Officina in Chiasso in Switzerland), almost always of a temporary nature such as that of 1993 between the PAC and GAM buildings in Milan, and for this event a project is already ready for a new installation within the spaces of Villa Borromeo Visconti Litta. His work and the character of the project of advanced intervention in this case will be documented by the catalog of the exhibition, which will include a selection of works by the artist that covers many moments of his activity. The catalog will be accompanied by a historic-critical text by Francesco Tedeschi, professor of History of Contemporary Art at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
