Backed by the success of last year, Yamaha Piano Discovery is back. New season of the music festival, the fifth, the result of collaboration between the Municipality of Lainate and Yamaha.
In the splendid Music Hall, once dedicated to hosting parties and artists, this year there will be not only pianists of international fame, who are well established in the world of concertos, but also talented young people who have distinguished themselves in the world of classical music.
Sarah Giannetti born in Sarzana, in 1995, began studying the piano in 1998. In 2006 she entered the “G. Puccini ”of La Spezia, under the guidance of the Masters Tina Zucchellini and Olga Zdorenko. In 2008 Sarah started taking lessons at the “A. Boito "of Parma, and in 2016 she graduated with 110, Praise and Honorable Mention with Maestro Roberto Cappello. She had the opportunity to attend masterclasses of specialization with masters of the highest level, such as Alberto Nosè, Jeffrey Swann, Roberto Cominati, Daniel Rivera, Riccardo Risaliti, Jin Ju, and attends "Hochschule Fur Musik und Tanz" in Cologne with Maestro Fabio Bidini.
She is currently continuing his studies at the prestigious International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, under the guidance of Maestro Leonid Margarius. Sarah Giannetti is the winner of dozens of national and international competitions, and performs on stages all over the world in theaters and festivals of the highest level, and performs in the most important concert halls, in Italy and abroad. In December 2018 she followed the debut alongside with the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, in Tashkent, in the prestigious Turkiston Concert Hall, and her first Professor's Masterclass at the National Conservatory of Uzbekistan.
With the intention of opening and spreading high-level musical culture, entry to Yamaha Piano Discovery concerts is free, subject to availability.
