Her latest recital was described as "electrifying and impeccable" (The Observer-London): Saskia Giorgini is the winner of the prestigious Mozart international competition in Salzburg - 2016 - (with a special prize for the best performance of the contemporary song) and the special prize for the best performance of a work by F. Chopin at the 2015 Busoni Competition. Saskia is a guest of important halls and institutions, including Eindhoven Muziekgebouw, Meistersingerhalle-Nuremberg, Liederhalle Stuttgart, Großer Saal-Salzburg, Konzerthaus and Muzikverein-Vienna, MiTo September Music, Musical Union, Vancouver Summer Festival, Warsaw Filharmonia Narodowa, Festiwal Katowice, Seoul Arts Center, Musashino (Tokyo), Festival of the Two Worlds of Spoleto, Concerts of the Quirinale (with live broadcast on Radio3), Concerts Society of Milan, Friends of the Music of Padua.
Saskia Giorgini began studying the piano at the age of four. From 2000 to 2008 he attended the International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, studying, thanks to the support of the De Sono Association for Music, with R. Risaliti and L. Margarius. She later graduated with honors, under the guidance of C. Voghera at the Conservatory of Turin. She has participated in masterclasses by A. Ciccolini, Z. Kocsis, A. Lonquich, L. Lortie, A. Lucchesini, B. Lupo, E. Virsaladze. She then completed her studies with Enrico Pace (Pinerolo Music Academy), with Julius Drake (Lieder repertoire, Graz University) and with Pavel Gililov (Postgraduate at the Salzburg Mozarteum). From 2014 to 2015 she taught at the Pinerolo Academy of Music as assistant to Maestro Pavel Gililov.
