JAZZ IN VILLA - Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado Concert

The participation of the Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado di Fondazione Milano in the season of events organised by the Municipality of Lainate continues. The cycle of concerts is part of the broader project "Ville di Delizia, Parchi e Acque. New perspectives for the north of Milan", financed by Fondazione Cariplo.
On 30 June, in the setting of the Noble Courtyard of Villa Litta, an unprecedented female trio, consisting of three students from the Civici Corsi di Jazz - Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado, will perform:
Sofia Viglietti, sax
Sabrina Ferrara, sax
Sofia Oltolini, guitar
The young ensemble will perform some of the most popular standards of the jazz repertoire, such as Jobim's "The Girl from Ipanema", Seymour Simons' "All of Me" and Bart Howard's "Fly Me to the Moon".
The Civici Corsi di Jazz - Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado, born in 1987 thanks to the experience and specific skills of Enrico Intra, Maurizio Franco and Franco Cerri, are one of the most important European realities in the field of jazz didactics: they combine training and production activities, which engage students and teachers in common musical projects of high artistic level.
The head of the Civici Corsi di Jazz is Maestro Enrico Intra, one of the most important pianists, composer, arranger and conductor in the history of European jazz.
